Step 1) Make the cork rock, level the base with green stuff, assemble and check the placement of the mini and glue it down the cork:
Bart is just standing on the cork not glued down it is easier to paint them separately.
Step 2) Prime the base, Dry Brush the Rock and base coat the area for the water with Menoth White Highlight:
Step 3) Apply and sculpt the water effect (i used Vallejo Water Effect Atlantic Blue): Let dry for 24 hours then dry brush the water
Step 4) Drybrush with Arcane Blue and Marrow White and the base is done and ready for the mini!

It looks good, but really when water splashes against a rock like that the colour is white with only a tinge of blue. If you used this alternative colour scheme it would greatly improve the model.

It looks like the water effects stuff shrunk and "sharpened" its edges by itself during the curing process, is this true? If so, then it could be a very interesting product to play around with
