Dralasite with magic 8 ball
This is a Dralasite by TSR for the Star Frontiers RPG and is just 13mm tall. I never played but I looked up the race background on the web (you can find anything!). They are amorphous. They have these black dots that are light receptors, and they gather in two clusters so they don't actually have eyes. That's why the dots cover the skin and gradually get denser on the "face." In her hand was some sort of weapon, but the pointy bit broke off so I smoothed it out and made the "magic 8 ball" to give guidance to my amorph. I had fun with color here. If your monitor has good resolution you might make out the subtle shift from gray at the extremities to pink in the center, intended to indicate that the body is semi-translucent, more colorful and harder to see through in the thick parts. The base was just rush painted to get into the contest on time. This was another semi-joke entry in the Chick Challenge V. Jason said as long as it was "arguably female" it would pass. The Dralasites supposedly were of both sexes so why not.
