After making my Chaos Giant I was thinking about making a version 2.0, but a « good one » this time. By chance, Miniature Mentor contacted me after UKGD08 to make a DVD about Giant painting. Sometimes calendar of different peoples seems to be lucky for everyone! So I came to Toulouse and paint all skins and face of this giant under MM video camera! http://www.miniaturementor.com/painting_tutorials.html

There is nothing really special about the making of the mini, expect that it was painted two time faster than the giant’s one. So for 50h, with a result in hand three time better lol!
But for sure this one is the last giant I ever made…. I suppose ^^! I know that pics have too much light, but as teh colour and some effects are really near than IRL I don't have very others choices lol !

EDIT : This is a less quality and alternative picture that i've made to succeed uploading the giant on CMON. A bigger picture, with more view is disponible here: http://julienc.world.free.fr/photos/sigmargeantfm1.jpg

As always a really beautifully rendered piec Julien. so many subtle colour shifts in there that combine to make a real thing of beauty and plenty to keep the eye happy
