Sorry, just had to comment again on this incredible miniature as I was just too brief before. I have to confess, seeing models like this makes me feel...like an absolute amateur. This is modelling in a totally different league... The sense of proportion and the incredibly subtle yet powerful sense that all the limbs have a weight, even the hips (so often neglected)... its like the only way to sculpt like this would be to make the skeleton, then the muscles, then the clothes etc...
The shading on the cloth too- this is phenomenal. It quite literally looks like a renaissance painting. And nothing about this awesome piece is 'showy' or exaggerated for effect. It's utterly perfect, totally and utterly perfect. Not one of the images shows a single element that could be in any way improved in my mind. Even the base (which i hardly noticed before as I was too engrossed with the elf) looks like a photo of some woodland floor.
Sorry for the long comment, but painting and modelling like this; I just cannot ignore it. |

The credible, very nice, and detailed carain, but paracia that you lacking time to finish some things, as the hands, nonetheless(though) very good work, congratulation, for both figures that you presented in the GD, were very good, I liked very much, and always you give a realistic aspect to your works, it I like, congratulation. |
