Centurious Legion of the Damned
This is the miniature I did for the Australian 2008 40K single. I was fortunate enough to get silver which I was really happy with considering the calibare of the entries. I imagined that the Legion of Damned armour would be starting to show signs of wear and fading after centuries of traveling through the warp so I went for a dark washed out grey instead of a clean black. As the miniature's helmet was off I wanted to go for a skull like appearance on his face so it almost looked like, together with the bone decoration, a Halloween costume. Finally for the flames I saw a Harley Davison motorbike with some flames painted on it which I just had to copy.
