This is just a quick painted version (about 7 hours) of one of the figures I sculpted for my little 'Guild of Harmony' range. He is a 32mm blacksmith, who has grabbed something he has been working on in his shop to use in a fight!

I agree: he looks a bit "passive", but I doubt he's in battle, I think he's just a blacksmith doing his job. Therefore, it's just perfect as it is. |

Round out the cheeks, "Enhance" the waistline and It's me. lol You know I'm gonna have to get this figure, especially as my Grandfather was a Blacksmith. Joking aside It's a great characterful sculpt and another well thought out and very sympathetic paint job. Well done mate!. |

Your painting and sculpting skills are superb but the one thing I am not to sure about on this one is the overall pose of the figure, he looks a bit to passive, not really like he has just picked up the sword to use in a fight, he has a bit of a YMCA look to him. I am not trying to knock your skills out of spite I think you have amazing talent and something I would aspire to. |
