Here is a new one I have finished - Virago from Ilyad. I have been looking forward to painting this mini for a long time, ever since I first saw it - jacques alexandre is such a master! It is such a shame that Ilyad has gone, because there were many beautiful minis.
I wanted to make a larger base than usual to establish a stronger environment and 'set the scene' - but this base made it difficult to take good photos showing the mini itself, so this is why I have included the pics of the mini separately. Sorry to cram it all in like that haha - but I wanted to try to avoid making multiple submissions of the same mini.

Simply amazing, the metallics are a bit muddled in places, but the face, the blending, and the effort put into making this only a single entry bring it up to a 10. I don't often like the Ilyad sculpts, and you've really made this one shine. |
